Hanging Guide

Before You Begin

Each OKRA piece is designed with a built-in hanging system to make installation simple and secure. Inspect the wall, hardware, and piece before starting.

1. What You Need

• A hammer
• A leveler, provided with the hanging kit
• Wall nails or screws, provided with the hanging kit
• A screwdriver if you choose to use a screw
• Appropriate wall anchors for heavier pieces or specific wall types

2. Choose The Placement

Decide where the frame will be positioned. We recommend hanging at eye level or aligning with nearby furniture for visual balance.

3. Prepare The Wall

• Use the paper level guide included in the box to mark a straight line.
• Ensure the wall surface is clean and dry.
• Confirm there are no hidden cables or pipes at the fixing point.

4. Install The Nail Or Screw

Insert a nail or wall screw at the marked point. Ensure it is firmly secured and level. Use wall anchors where your wall type or product weight requires them.

5. Hang The Frame

The backing design allows the frame to sit securely on existing nails or newly installed fixings. Gently place the frame onto the nail or screw and let it rest evenly.

6. Final Adjustment

Step back and check alignment with your leveler. Make small adjustments if needed, then give the frame a gentle stability check before stepping away.

7. Important Notes

• The integrated backing system is designed to distribute weight evenly.
• For heavier pieces, use appropriate wall anchors.
• Avoid hanging in areas with direct heat, humidity, vibration, or liquid exposure.
• Damage caused by incorrect installation is not covered by OKRA.
